probably from the story of Alexander the Great, a crowned Emperor in the center gesturing to the left, a child holding his helmet below, soldiers surrounding the scene, within flowering border incorporating trophies of war. 

Condition

Old lining with loops. Good blues and browns. Bottom border later. Restorations throughout, particularly in ground on left side border and throughout panel. Much of light cream colored areas restored and with splits and extensive open warps throughout. Reduced. Overall the colors are less pink and warm in reality.
