the rectangular top decorated with a central chess board, and surrounded by scrolling flowers raised on a baluster support on three curved legs; together with two Victorian lacquered and mother-of-pearl side tables
Condition
Old marks and surface abrasions to the penwork table, with a visible diagonal scratch to the top. Minor losses, and small cracks to the painted surfaces especially on the baluster support, with old worm to the support and legs. An added veneer to one of the legs appears to be slightly lifting. With old marks and craquelure to the Victorian side tables consistent with age. Minor marks, surface abrasions and age cracks, in otherwise good condition.
