Description

carved from a rootwood root to resemble a ferocious dragon, the beast crouching low on its haunches with its head turned sharply to the right, its facial features well defined with bulging eyes below bushy eyebrows and a single horn at the forehead with long flaring whiskers, its slender body sweeping back to a long curling tail, the wood of a deep honey-brown tone

Condition

One of the whiskers has broken off and has been restuck. Otherwise the piece is in good condition overall.
