Description
finely painted around the sides in bright doucai enamels with bouquets of daisies, the flowers in shaded in tones of iron-red, yellow and underglaze-blue, alternating with linked foliate scrolls, all below a band of blue and yellow ruyi heads, the interior with a similar bouquet within a band of florets encircled by a stylised foliate scroll, the base inscribed with the six-character seal mark in underglaze-blue

Condition
The bowl is in very good condition. The enamels are bright and clean.

See a Yongzheng bowl of this form and decoration published in Gu taoci ziliao xuancui, Beijing, 2005, pl. 143. A pair of Yongzheng bowls was sold in these rooms, 22nd May 1979, lot 215; and another from the Collection of Edward T. Chow was sold in these rooms, 25th November 1980, lot 128.
