Description

each finely potted with deep rounded sides springing from a short straight foot, decorated on the interior with a central medallion enclosing a single iron-red lotus bloom issuing lime-green and lemon-yellow enamelled curling stems and foliage within a single-line border repeated at the rim, the exterior with three clusters of finely pencilled double-headed lotus blooming from scrolling stems and feathery foliage, inscribed on the base with the six-character seal mark in underglaze-blue

Condition

The pair is in very good condition. To one bowl, there is slight bubbling to the iron-red enamel on the interior, and a small natural firing flake to the foot. To the other bowl, there is an ironspot on the interior, and a small firing impurity to the interior medallion.
