Description

painted on the exterior with two rectangular panels each depicting Europeans at leisure dressed in elaborate period costume wearing wigs and top-hats, set amid rockwork and other shrubs and under the shade of a pine and red berry trees, all reserved on a ground enamelled in sepia imitating marble, the interior and base glazed turquoise, with a central square reserved in white for the base for the six-character seal mark in iron-red

Condition

There are a few shallow chips to the exterior of the mouthrim. There are two flakes to the base of the interior, each of approx 0.3 by 0.3cm, as well as surface wear from usage over time. There is a firing flaw - an area fired to a dark brown colour to the foot of approx 0.9 by 0.2cm.
