Description
each delicately potted with steep rounded sides everting to a lipped rim, the exterior elegantly painted in bright enamels with a continuous scene of cicadas and other insects flying and climbing on leafy branches, a pair of dung beetles rolling a ball beside bending grasses, and small raspberry-pink blooms growing amongst pierced blue rockery, the details of the insects' textured wings and veining on foliage and petals picked out in black

Condition
The pair is in very good condition, the enamels are bright and have been very well preserved. The bowls are very well preserved in terms of size and painting.
