each with shallow rounded sides supported on a short foot, the centre well painted in vivid tones of cobalt-blue with a five-clawed dragon writhing amid flames and cloud swirls, within a double-line border repeated at the rim, the exterior similarly decorated with a pair of ferocious dragons in mutual pursuit striding amid cloud swirls, the base inscribed with the four-character hallmark Zhiyuan tang zhi within a double-square
