Description

of hexagonal form, surmounted the waisted neck rising to a flared rim, each lobe painted with trailing vines of fruiting melon amongst leaves and tendrils, all between double line borders, the base inscribed in underglaze-blue with a six character mark

Condition

The jarlet is in excellent condition. The blue is of a slightly softer tone than the illustration depicts.
