Description
of conical form with slightly rounded sides rising from a short tapered foot, the interior carved with exuberant depictions of two boys surrounded by a lush ground of peonies, applied overall with an aqua-green glaze pooling to a deeper color in the carving, the recessed base partially glazed revealing the body burned russet in the firing
Condition
The interior with one area of firing flaw 1/2 inch long and a small kiln grit (glazed over). The foot rim with a chip to the interior 1/4 inch wide. In good condition. Inspected under UV light.
