Description

the eight-lobed cup with barbed rim and sides, tapering to a conforming stepped foot, angular open-scroll handles flanking the body with taotie carved in low-relief on the thumb-pieces, the exterior of the rim incised with leiwen border, the stone of a mottled and veined ivory gray-white tone, the surface peppered with fine brown-stained pitting

a few minor flakes to the underside of the foot, surface with numerous fine pits
