the toad with a movable lower mouth and inlaid eyes, with two young toads upon her back grasping a spray of berries and leaves, a small hole to the bottom; together with a carved bamboo toad, Japanese, early-to-mid 19th century, seated, with knobby skin and inlaid black eyes, its belly full as if about to puff out, stained a dark brown color (2)
