the thin cylindrical holder carved and pierced in fine detail with a panorama of a palace with figures engaging in leisurely pursuits, surrounded by pavilions among pine trees and lotus ponds, with a crane and a deer, all situated within a mountainous landscape, wood fittings to each end with cover, of deep brown color and patina (2)

Condition
In good condition with some vertical age cracks at both ends. The end with the central aperture appears to have been reglued.
