Description
the six-plate iron bowl covered with pierced net-type iron and riveted, the lower section inlaid in gold and silver nunomezogan with stylized Buddhist items, the simple mabizashi (visor) with uchimayu (eyebrows), fitted with four-stage lacquer and leather ita-jikoro (neck guard) with small fukigaeshi (blow back)
Condition
Silver flat inlays are tarnished in many places and covered with slight rust as can be seen in the illustration. One of the six net-like cover way in all the way to the back is a later replacement. Some lacquer of shikoro (neck guard) has some minor lacquer losses in the bottom edge section, otherwise good condition.
