The duck is in good condition with the gilding on the cloisons largely intact. The front end of the wing cover and the top of the head with very minor loss to the blue enamel.
The egret is in good condition with the gilding on the cloisons and on the archaistic accents largely intact. The edges of the wing cover and the area around the top of the legs with some loss to the enamel. There are also losses to the enamel on the head, with associated tiny cracks.
