Description

of flattened double-gourd form, the slightly spreading lip with rounded collar, all on a low, spreading foot, the waist flanked by foliage and vine-form handles with pendant rings, the body carved with flowering and fruiting scrolling foliate vines, foliage-carved foot, the stone of an even deep-green with scattered black and gray specks

Condition

generally good condition, possibly lacking a cover, internal flaws coming up from foot partly incorporated into carving, small associated chip to edge of foot at the terminus of one flaw, minor abrasions to leaves by ring-handles
