the cylindrical body decorated with a continuous scene of a lively pond featuring large lotus buds, wide leaves, fluttering insects and egrets, picked out in green and aubergine enamel with iron-red, an abstracted petal-band below the shoulder, the collar with four roundels enclosing pink and purple florets against a green diaper ground, the neck with sections of bamboo painted in black, rising to the flattened mouth and a rounded rim, all supported on a short foot

Condition

The vase is in good overall condition with scattered areas of tiny pinholes and pinpricks. The mouth rim is slightly warped.
