the faceted bodies with waisted neck and everted lip, the bodies tapering to the foot, with alternating side-panels decorated in cobalt-blue featuring figures in extensive landscapes and descriptive poems in regular script, all below foliate borders, the tops of the rims decorated with reserves of seasonal flowers and foliage and scholar's articles against a diaper ground, the edges of the rims with a leiwen border, wood stands (4)

Condition

good visual condition, drain holes to undersides filled, one with restored crack to underside, scattered minor surface scratches, glaze pits and light abrasions, scattered minor fritting and glaze 'pimples', slight staining to bases
