Description

the ovoid body painted in cobalt-blue with two dragons in pursuit of 'flaming pearls', between a band of the bajixiang ('Eight Buddhist Emblems') at the shoulder and lappets at the foot, the flat cover with a single dragon and 'flaming pearl' surrounded by ruyi-head clouds on the side, apocryphal Qianlong seal mark to the base

In good condition with expected iron spots and pinholes. Kiln grit on the underside of the cover.
