A rare 'ding' persimmon-glazed bowl Northern Song Dynasty

finely potted, of lobed form, the rounded sides applied overall with a persimmon-red glaze, thinning at the rim to a dark brown and cream tone, stopping just before the flat foot to reveal the fine buff body

The rim is somewhat warped with a 1/8 inch long chip associated with a burst air bubble. A speck of darkened kiln grit just below the rim, visible at 6 o'clock in the catalogue image. Just below the rim on the exterior is a small burst air bubble next to a speck of kiln grit. There is another very small air bubble on the exterior. Minor and expected surface wear. The color of the bowl is silghtly lighter than the catalogue image appears.
