Description
of cylindrical form, brightly enameled around the exterior with a scholar official, standing with an official in a fenced garden under a pine tree, beside a flowing river and clad in purple and green robes

Condition
The brushpot is in good overall condition with the exception of light rubbing to the iron-red decoration, some minor firing imperfections including iron-spot glaze imperfections, pinhead-sized glaze holes and light glaze scratches.
