each painted to the interior with a medallion enclosing two figures carrying lanterns in a garden, encircled by a band of scrolling lotus in the well, the reverse painted with similar lanterns

Condition

The condition of these dishes is generally good with the exception of a 3cm., wide crescent-shaped area of restoration to the rim of one, some minor fritting to the rims and pin holes to the glaze. The enamels of one dish are brighter than the other.
