Description
the baluster body rising from a recessed base to a broad rounded shoulder and short tapering neck, covered overall in a sea-green glaze suffused with a matrix of dark brown and golden crackles, wood cover and stand

Condition
There are three main hairline cracks running through the rim of the jar and several minor ones. There is some staining to the glaze along the crackle to the side of the jar. There is a shallow chip to the side of the foot (10mm by 5mm) and a manufacturing defect (11mm by 7mm hole with glaze).
