Description

each of the six deep petal-shaped lobes rising from a short straight foot to a foliate rim, covered overall in a bluish-green glaze, 9.5cm., 3 3/4 in; together with two celadon-glazed bowls, one carved around the exterior with lotus, the other with an applied prunus blossom in the centre

Condition

The mallow-shaped cup: This is in good condition, but glaze discolouration along the mould lines to the interior. There is extensive crackle to the glaze to interior and exterior. The petal-carved cup: This has restoration to the rim in four places. There is is extensive crackle to the glaze to the interior and exterior. The rounded cup: This is in good condition. There are two minor glaze pulls to the rim. There is light crackle to the interior and exterior.
