THREE 'QINGBAI' BOWLS SOUTHERN SONG/YUAN DYNASTY

one finely moulded with a phoenix medallion encircled by two boys, another carved and combed to the interior with peony, and the other plain with an indented rim, all covered in a pale ice-blue glaze save for the base

bowl on left of catalogue image: Two firing flaws to interior well and around 2/3 of the upper section of the foot. Minor fritting on the rim and two shallow chips, the largest 6 mm. Pinholes and pinpricks on the exterior. 4 mm chip to the foot rim. The color is more green than the catalogue image suggests. bowl in center of catalogue image: The glaze has degraded to a silvery iridescence. A 4 cm hairline crack from the rim, and a similarly long glaze crack also on the rim. Iron spots to the interior. bowl on right of catalogue image: Good condition overall with a network of crackles on one side of the exterior.
