Condition
Left on catalogue image: Chips and nibbles on the rims of both box and cover, the more significant chips on the box.
Center-left on catalogue image: Fine overall condition with specks of kiln grit throughout. A hairline crack 2 cm from the foot upward, and continuing 0.5 cm on the base.
Center in catalogue image: Good overall condition with small areas of glaze pull. Glaze degradation and minor loss around the foot and mouth rim.
Center-right in catalogue image: Iron-spots and mottling throughout, particularly on the cover. Kiln grit scattered on the cover, the largest 1.3 cm wide, near a shallow chip 1 cm.
Right on catalogue image: Cover with a hairline crack visible on top and underside, approximately 3 cm long. Firing flaw on topside of cover 1 cm. Small chips on rim, the most significant 0.4 cm. The box in good condition with negligible shallow chips on the rim.
