Description
the flattened baluster body rising from a flat base to a short straight neck, moulded around the exterior with a basket-weave design and set at the shoulder with a pair of lug handles, covered overall in a creamy-white glaze save for the rim and base, 12cm., 4 3/4 in; together with a white-glazed bowl, and a carved 'peony' bowl

Condition
small bowl: Three small specks of kiln grit and one small glaze chip ontop of a pinhole on interior. The glaze degrading, exhibition craquelure throughout with some areas of the crackle discolored to a russet. Otherwise good condition.
large bowl: Five kiln adhesion spurs on the interior, along with sufrace scratches and an approximatey 4 cm long glaze crack. A 1.3 cm chip on the foot rim.
jar: In fair overall condition with minor old chips to the rim. Three small chips on the raised 'basket weave' surface at the shoulder. Below on handle are two iron spots, a burst air bubble and 2 cm firing flaw at the foot, the latter appearing to continue along 3/4 the length of the base.
