of kidney shape, incised to the top with a quatrefoil panel freely painted in brown slip with a floral spray and reserved on a cream ground

Condition

The pillow was inspected under UV light and showed no signs of fluorescence, except to the areas on the edges where the glaze has been worn or degraded. Some very minor glaze pull and kiln grit on the top surface. Top right corner with a firing flaw, a 6 cm firing flaw along the bottom of the top surface rim along the back. A 1.4 cm chip to the bottom of the rim on the front side, and a 1 cm circular chip glaze on the back side. In otherwise good condition.
