Description
the hemispherical body rising from a short straight foot, freely moulded to the interior with a broad band enclosing three young boys holding lotus sprays, covered overall in an olive-green glaze, 19.5cm., 7 3/4 in; together with a large green-glazed lobed bowl, Ming Dynasty or later

Condition
boys bowl: This is in good overall condition with 1 cm firing flaw just below the rim. Very minor iron spots and pinholes on the interior. A 2.5 cm potting flaw below the exterior of the rim, original to the firing and covered with deep green glaze. Kiln grit around the foot.
lobed bowl: The glaze is suffused with bubbles. Minor and negligible firing flaws and iron spots throughout. In good overall condition.
