A RARE 'QINGBAI' JARDINIERE SONG DYNASTY

the body of slightly tapering cylindrical form rising from an angled base and short tapering footring, carved around the exterior with a broad band of overlapping petals and covered overall in an ice-blue glaze, save for the unglazed rim

The jardiniere is in good overall condition with the exception of a 10 x 8mm area of glaze loss to the exterior side and an associated hairline five-pointed glaze crack to the interior, rubbing to the glaze predominantly to the raised design around the exterior, minor nibbles to the unglazed rim, some minor firing imperfections including iron-spot glaze imperfections and light glaze scratches.
