the compressed globular lobed body rising from a short spreading foot to and incurved rim with broad collar, covered overall in a clear ivory-white glaze over a white slip

Condition
The jar is in good overall condition with the exception of a 6 x 5mm., V-shaped shallow chip to the side of the foot, some minor firing imperfections, rubbing to the glaze and light glaze scratches.
