Literature

Bo Gyllensvard, Chinese Ceramics in the Carl Kempe Collection, Stockholm, 1964, pls 308 (jar and cover) and 304 (globular jar).

Condition

The colors of all three are more ivory than the catalogue image suggests. stemcup: In good overall condition, with minor kiln grit to the interior and small sections of glaze pull on the exterior rim. jar and cover: Some glaze degradation to the surface of both, resulting in slightly peppered quality. Two tiny nibbles on the jar's rim, the largest 3 mm. A firing flaw where the knop is joined to the cover and one negligible chip to the rim.
