Description
the deep rounded sides rising from a short spreading foot to an everted foliate rim, covered overall in a white glaze, 16.8cm., 6 5/8 in; together with a white glazed bowl, Tang Dynasty

Condition
The foliate-rimmed dish: Inspected under UV light, showing fluorescence on three of the tips on the rim. One has a restored crack 1.3 cm wide, another with a chip 0.6 cm from a larger restored section 1 cm, the third another restored chip appearing to be approximately 0.8 cm. The interior well with a burst air bubble 0.3 cm near an iron spot. The foot rim with old minor chips and kiln grit.
The white-glazed bowl: UV light showed no fluorescence. In overall good condition, with a slightly warped rim.
