zhadou: In good overall condition with some glaze degradation to the underside of the mouth and part of the foot. The glaze dry and flaking on the rim. Some scattered pinholes and glaze pull. box and cover: The cover has some glaze degradation on the sides, minor laze cracks and expected wear on the pointed 'leaves' and finial. One burst air bubble at the bottom of the finial, another near the rim and a couple of other minor ones scattered. The box has an 8 mm chip to the lower section of the body, as well as a 3 mm chip to the rim with an associated 2.6 cm hairline crack. The body with some burst air bubbles and kiln grit. Note the additional Literature history: Mostra D'Arte Cinese, Palazzo Ducale, Venice, 1954, cat.no. 403. p. 119. foliate dish: The glaze is very thick and is suffused with craquelure, scattered with pinholes and pinpricks. A 2 mm glaze chip below the exterior of the rim. Otherwise good condition. ewer: The glaze is dry and worn on the handle and rim. Minor nibbles on the spout. Three potting flaws above the foot. In otherwise good condition.
