Description

of each of deep U-shape rising from a short spreading foot to a slightly everted rim, covered overall in a transparent greenish-coloured glaze falling short of the foot to reveal the white body.

Condition

The cups are in good condition with very thick glaze pooling at the interior and one the exterior, the glaze showing a fine network of crackles throughout. The glaze on both rims is worn and slightly degraded. Note that there is additional Literature history: Mostra D'Arte Cinese, Palazzo Ducale, Venice, 1954, cat.no. 350.
