Description
well modelled standing on a rectangular base with right leg raised, supporting a saddle and cloth on its back, the head raised alertly with ears pricked and turned slightly to the left, traces of red and black pigments

Sotheby's London, 8 March 1966, lot 89.
Condition
The horse has old restoration to three of the lower legs, the base has been replaced with a wooden repair and the whole model has been painted to conceal the restored areas (some of this later paint is flaking).
