the well-potted deep rounded sides rising from a short tapering foot to a broad flaring rim, finely modelled in high relief to the interior with a pair of swimming fish, covered overall in an exceptional glossy bluish-green 'kinuta' glaze save for the base of the footring

This finely moulded and glazed bowl is in good overall condition with the exception of a firing warp to approximately a third of the rim, adhered kiln grit to the rim, two hairline glaze lines to the interior (longest 4cm.), some minor firing imperfections and light glaze scratches.
