Description

the deep rounded sides supported on a short straight foot, the interior carved with a floral medallion encircled by a broad peony band, carved around the exterior with two rows of lotus petals and covered overall in a thick bluish-green glaze

Condition

The bowl is in good overall condition with the exception of some glaze scratches to the interior and exterior, some minor firing imperfections including a minor iron spot and glaze pinhole to the rim and a circa 1cm., wide band of thicker glaze running in a line approximately 3cm., below the rim on the interior and exterior.
