Description

the deep rounded sides rising from a short tapering foot to a broad flaring rim, brightly enamelled and gilt to the interior with a floral medallion and encircled in the well and rim by dot and floral bands, the exterior with four simple flower sprays

Condition

The bowl is in good overall condition with the exception of some light rim fritting, four small blue enamel flakes at the rim, light rubbing to the iron-red and gilded decoration, some minor firing imperfections including iron-spot glaze imperfections, pinhead-sized glaze holes and light glaze scratches.
