Description
each with rounded sides rising from a slightly flared foot to a straight rim, painted around the exterior with equestrian and foot soldiers and a further figure carrying a banner, the domed covers with halberds amongst rockwork and flowering trees and surmounted by a chrysanthemum bud finial
Condition
The covers are in good condition, one with a small firing flaw to the finial. One jar with two shallow chips just above the foot, and an area of glaze pull above the foot. The other jar with pinholes and iron spots. Some minor wear to the enamel but very negligible.
