Description
each of oval section, brightly enamelled in yellow, green and aubergine and modelled in high relief around the exterior with rocks, plantain leaves and a qilong clambering up the side and over the rim, wood stands
Condition
As can be expected, most of the protruding tips of the leaves have been restuck and painted over. On one brushpot, there is also a triangular section of the rockwork that has been restored, covering an area approx. 6.5cm high and 12cm wide. There are also minor firing cracks visible on the base and interior, but these are original and occured during firing. Otherwise, each of the dragons appear to be intact and in good condition.
