each modelled in the form of a duck squatting on its haunches, decorated with archaic inspired scrollwork in yellow, green, red, blue, white and pink on a turquoise ground, with stylized feathers on the wings forming the cover
Provenance
From a private European collection acquired in the 1980's.
Condition
Both are in similarly good condition, with minor wear to the enamel on the tails. The rear of the birds with small gashes and enamel losses though minor. One of the covers is missing its pin, securing it to the censer.
