the laughing Maitreya seated with right leg drawn up to support his resting right hand grasping a beaded rosary, the left hand bent to support a ruyi sceptre and reclining upon his bulging calico bag, his flowing robes left wide open to reveal his swollen belly and protruding nipples, his high domed bald head flanked by large earlobes, the features finely incised with stippled beard framing the widely smiling mouth, wood stand

Condition

The figure is in good overall condition with the exception of a break to one finger, several characteristic firing cracks over the belly and chest, two haircracks to ruyi scepter (at terminal and handle), some minor firing imperfections and light glaze scratches.
