A 'FAMILLE-VERTE' ARMORIAL PLATE QING DYNASTY, CIRCA 1720

enamelled and gilt to the interior with a large central coat-of-arms of Woodford Impaling Lear, encircled at the well by an iron-red and gilt spear-head and trellis diaper band, the broad rim with 'Precious Objects' and a scroll band divided by the crest of Woodford

The plate is in good overall condition with the exception of several shallow flakes to the footring, a 3mm., flake to the underside of the rim, light rubbing to the gilded decoration, some minor firing imperfections including iron-spot glaze imperfections, pinhead-sized glaze holes and light glaze scratches.
