Description
seated in dhyanasana with his right hand in bhumisparsamudra, wearing finely delineated robes over a well-modelled torso leaving the chest and one arm bare, the serene face framed by long pendulous earlobes and the tightly curled hair rising to a prominent ushnisha and jewel, all supported on a waisted double lotus base with beaded borders, the base closed and engraved with a double vajra
Condition
The Buddha is in overall very good condition withy the exception of light and small areas of rubbing to the gilding and minor nicks, possibly original to the casting. It appears to have been slightly over-cleaned and the base has been opened and re-closed.
