Description
the deep rounded sides supported by a short, splayed foot rising to an everted rim, the exterior painted in vibrant famille-rose enamels with six large blooms including peony, chrysanthemum, lotus and hibiscus on interlocking dense scrolling leafy stems, all reserved on a pale yellow ground, the interior enamelled in green and decorated in the centre with a butterfly hovering above a flowering peony, the base inscribed with the six-character seal mark in blue enamel
Condition
This bowl is generally in good condition. There are several pin holes to the enamel in the interior. There is a minor 2cm scratch to the enamel to the exterior.
