Description

comprising: an agate bottle of rounded shape, carved to one side in relief with a peach tree with bats, using the natural dark colour of the stone to accentuate the fruit, the reverse with a bat and a single fruit spray, amethyst stopper; and a plain form agate bottle of well rounded form and finely hollowed, carnellian stoper

Provenance

The peach tree bottle: purchased from Galerie Vitali France's, Rue du Faubourg Saint Honore, Paris in 1917.

Condition

Both bottles are in good condition, but show slight signs of wear.
