Description
finely and deeply carved to the front face with a scholar standing at the base of steps leading up to a pagoda, all within rocky outcrops, pine trees and swirling mist, the reverse with a similar scene, the stone of pale celadon tone with a russet skin
Condition
The carving is in very good condition. There is some natural pitting to the stone at the lower front edge.
