Description

naturalistically modelled as a hollowed peach issuing from a large leafy gnarled stem issuing further smaller fruit and blossom, to one side a tiny monkey clambers up to the rim, the stone of pale celadon tone, 10cm., 4in; together with an archaistic carved jade cup

Condition

The washer is in very good condition with the exception of a minute nick to the edge of one leaf at the base; the cup has a 5mm long bruise (possible flaw) to the handle with associated 2mm loss.
