Description

the rounded six-lobed sides rising from a short straight foot to a broad everted foliate rim, covered overall with a rich purplish-blue glaze thinning to a buff tone at the rim and well, the base with an incised four-character mark

Condition

The dish is in good overall condition with the exception of a 7cm., wide area of restoration to a crescent-shaped break at the rim, some minor firing imperfections including iron-spot glaze imperfections, pinhead-sized glaze holes and light glaze scratches.
